Primary 4/5 - Miss Fraser

Congratulations to Imre who is the first in our class to reach 200 dojos! The children can earn dojos for things like growth mindset, completing work, helping others and great listening!

Yesterday and today we made our own haunted house pictures using water colour paints. How good do they look?!

Today we finished our first class novel of the year, Charlotte's Web. We have absolutely loved reading all about Wilbur and his friendship with Charlotte. Last week we made salt dough spiders. This afternoon we painted these. We can't wait for you to see them soon!

Matthew and Jay were fantastic engineers after Friday's house meeting. They used every Jenga brick in the class to make a tower as tall as them!

This afternoon Primary 4/5 were set two challenges. The first was to follow a recipe with others in their group to make a batch of salt dough. The second challenge was to make a 3d model of a spider using salt dough, pipe cleaners and googly eyes. The children worked so well in a group to follow the recipe and despite one salt dough disaster, we finally got there in the end! What a fun filled afternoon! (I feel so sorry for Linda our cleaner having to clean up our mess!)
