The triangle maths group have been busy this week ordering numbers up to 10,000. Cameron and Lucy had a competition to see how quickly they could order number coconuts on the Promethean board!
Thankfully the rain stopped for a short period this morning so we went outside and conducted our own traffic survey! We stood on Livingstone Street for 15 minutes and recorded how many cars, buses, bikes, taxis, vans, planes and pedestrians we saw. We couldn't believe just how busy outside the school was! This information was then collated and displayed on a pictogram.
Congratulations to all of the children in Primary 4/5 as they have all finished their bronze chart! Children receive boxes on their chart for putting in their best effort in class. To complete the bronze chart, children have to get 20 boxes! We are now ready for the challenge of silver award which is 25 boxes!
